We sent ten different tip samples to Stan, and he chose this one for his cue, so you can be assured that the same tip he uses on TV is available for you. A percentage of each sale supports Stan in his early career and contributes to his upcoming cue line.
Each tip undergoes rigorous hand-checking and testing using advanced equipment to measure hardness and feel, resulting in classifications of Soft and Medium. We may introduce a Medium Hard option later, based on demand.
The Action Cue tips Stan Moody delivers a forgiving hit, similar to a laminated tip, allowing for a slight off-center strike without sacrificing performance—ideal for most players. The grip and feel on the cue ball are exceptional, making this tip a true standout.
The tip features a pinprick, indicating that every single one has been individually tested, unlike many companies that only conduct batch testing. This ensures consistency in performance; our tips are crafted to feel similar from one to the next.
With a height of around 5.5-5.6mm, adjustments can be made to suit your preference. Personally, I lower mine to achieve the desired feel, and you can expect 3-4 months of excellent performance before needing a replacement. This tip truly is a winner!
