Peradon selects only the finest kiln-dried North American ash for the shaft. Each piece is chosen for its straight grain, strength and natural stiffness. Skilled cue makers then hand splice genuine ebony to create the traditional four-point design that has become synonymous with quality English snooker cues.
The cue is gradually shaped over time to reduce stress within the timber. This careful process helps produce exceptional stability while delivering the smooth finish that Peradon cues are known for. Every cue receives multiple sanding and polishing stages before leaving the factory.
The precision-engineered solid brass Quick Action joint sits 16 inches from the butt, creating a 44-inch shaft for excellent cueing action. Both sections of the joint are machined from a single piece of solid brass for a precise fit and long-lasting performance. The cue also includes a matching Quick Action butt-end joint, allowing Peradon extensions to be fitted quickly when additional reach is required.
The solid brass ferrule is fitted with a premium 9.5mm to 10mm Elkmaster leather tip.
